Photorejuvenation

Photorejuvenation is a very effective and non-invasive treatment that treats sun damage, age spots, sun spots, pigmentation, freckles and broken capillaries on the face and body, without damage or disruption of the skin surface, hence no down tgime.

Highly controlled flashes of light penetrate through the skins surface turning into heat that is attracted to the pigment or capillary uder the skins surface. All IPL therapy on the face will also stimulate collagen which is fantastic for refining wrinkles and plumping of the skin giving you a luminous healthy glow.

Freckles / Pigmentation / Sun Spots / Sun Damage

When treating freckles, pigmentation, sun spots or sun damage, the light penetrates through the skin transforming into the heat. The heat is attracted to the colour of the pigmentation under the skin. During the treatment you will feel a flicking sensation and after the pigmentation, freckles or sun spots will darken in colour, most times about twice as dark as the original colour, then it will exfoliate off the skin naturally within 7 - 10 days.

Depending on the number of conditions we are treating and the severity of the condition, you may need 1 - 4 treatments 4 weeks apart. You will experience a similar feeling of sunburn after the treatment for about 1 - 2 hours.

Broken Capillaries

The face has an extensive network of veins and tiny blook vessels called capillaries. Many facts such as heat, aging and sun can weaken the walls of these capillaries making them break causing redness and blotches. IPL therapy can eliminate damaged veins and capillaries by removing virtually all traces of these unsightly blemishes.
